I lived in the Cambridge for a little over two years. Overall I would not recommend the Cambridge, I'll list the pros and cons below.
Pros:
Fitness Center.
Rooftop pool.
Close to metros.
Close to downtown.
Cons:
Roaches, roaches, roaches.
Bugs, bugs, bugs. (Very embarrassing when you have guests over)
The management is TERRIBLE! Rude, slow and dishonest. There was a great employee there that everyone loved named Kenny, but I heard he was not working there anymore.
Loud; there is a fire station a block away, If you live on the Mass. Ave. side, the noise is relentless. The walls also offer no sound block from your neighbors or the hallway.
Price is way too high.
Apartment is in bad condition and the studios are way too small even for city living standards.
Drug deals and fights are common in the Cambridge. You'll find that the police are called here often.
The dryers barely work and it takes two cycles to dry even a small load.
Most young people are nice in the apartment, but I have also noticed some older folks living there that act like 4th graders.
Nothing to do on the weekends; you definitely will need to go further away to get food, nightlife, fun.
Save some frustration and don't move in here, no matter how nice it looks at first.

Hi. I'm about to rent a studio there. Is there still any roaches? We did asked about that. they said there are no roaches here and they spray all the time. I hate bugs. Can you let me know if this problem still exist? Thanks!
