I moved here with my family in early summer. It was a nightmare from the start. I was given the apartment with the floors not finished, cracks in every wall, mirrors missing, and wires hanging out of the walls, and the A/C units don't work. The managment's responce to all this was..."what do you want us to do about it" I ended up doing all the work myself for just two weeks off the rent!!!!!
What happens in this building on a daily basis should be against the law, and I am sure most of it is!!! Drugs run rapmid through out the building, security does nothing to stop it, they are just too scared to leave the security desk, or stop nonresidents from entering the building. During the summer they let the project kids use the pool, making it unsafe for my family to use it. Maintenance is nonexsistant, they change service men every few weeks, none with any real skills. Two of the four elevators have never worked since the day I came here, and the other two seldomly do. There has not been a day that has gone by in my ten months here that the police, or fire department has been in the building.
The residents here are deplorable, mostly section 8. They bring do quality of life here even further. Dealing drugs, being loud all times of the day and night, smoking and urinating in the elevators.
The last thing I have to say is the most important of all. THIS BUILDING IS UNSAFE!!!!! Since I have been here (ten months) there has been two fires, several people stuck in elevtors, and a stabbing. In two wonderful months I can get myself and family out of this hellhole. To anyone reading this I hope you do the same as soon as you can, or if you are lucky enough not to live here....STAY THE HELL AWAY!!!!!!
