I belive that Edgewood Management inherited this mess but this is the kind of apts they feel they must always take on. Before the aprtment went tax credit and sec 8 it was indeed a great place to live. I have been here for over 15 years and will be leaving in the next couple of months. There is potential for these buildings to suceed, however, we need the right kind of people to manage them. All of the suberb staff of Edgewood are somehow disappearing because they were former employees of ARMC and frankly the management that they now have stinks to high heaven. If you're not going to gossip about another resident then they simply have no need for you. Sooner or later all that will be in this building is section 8 residents. That should be great with the stadium coming thru. Good luck to them all but I cant take it anymore here. The bottom line is they are aware of drug activites and choose not to do anything about the situation. So that is basically telling me that you can sell drugs, pimp, prosiutute , start fires etc. as long as you pay your rent.

Me and my boyfriend are tying to move in July this will be our (and seperately) first apartment. We were gonna visit tomorrow. It seemed nice in the newspaper ad, and their website, but...we want to live in DC and for no more than $1000 pm. If someone is moving outta here within Dc, please let me know of some affordable NICE places to live in DC. joyjoy1810@aol.com Thanks. |
