Not bad, if you like urine...

I have lived here for almost a year now, and despite a few annoyances -loud people in the halls(i have a studio and the hall door is basically my bedroom door) - broken gates, broken elevators it isnt a bad place. it is affordable, close to a grocery, metro and theatre. aside from the disgusting smelling lobby and the annoying people who loiter there all day and all night making lewd comments to any females who walk past, it isnt bad. maintenance is a bit slow, but they tend to get the job done, so long as you are clear as to what you need. for the price you pay and the space you get, it is a good deal. no matter where you live in DC you are going to have crappy neighbors, at least here you have a nice view of the capitol or the new stadium and the neighborhood is fairly quiet. so long as you use common sense this isnt a bad place to live (really, aside from the urine smell. WHY does it have to smell like that'')
