This is the absolute worst place you can live, it is an excellent location but apart from that everything else sucks. There are call girls, drugs (a gentlemen down the hall sales them), there is yelling, police outside nearly every day, rats, bed bugs, cockroaches, and the maintenance is completely incapable of doing or fixing anything, there is urine in the elevator and the stairways. And the worst thing is that there is no where to shop for basic groceries, unless you want to go to the worst Safeway ever (every single cashier register is taped together, literally). There is no nightlife like some reviewer suggested, if you go out you most likely get harassed by young hoodlums. This region of DC was described by a guide as a concrete tundra where fun comes to die , that s so true.
The rent is over a $1,000 for a studio I would pay a little more and go anywhere else.

Yes, I lived there and only lasted 6 months and had to leave exiting my lease prematurely and they came after me saying that I owed all of this money with collections agengies, etc, and I just ignored them and they eventuall went away but marred my credit..Oh well...It's a 24X7 crack and heroin/ drug house that has prostitution, etc. We used to shoot rats in the parking garage with air pistols. Also, very loud and dangerous. The security is payed off and they let everyone in from the housing project across the street and knowone does anything. Exit door are propped open, etc. The police and fire department are there constantly and sleeping at night is almost impossible due to th paper thin doors, etc....Unfortunately, when they show the properties, they show them at lunchtime, etc, when the criminals are all still sleeping...Wow, what a difference after 9pm when the whole building party starts...
