When applying a roach scurries across the leasing office floor and leasing agent Mohammed rushes to kill it. The "special" being offered is based on a "tax credit" and the leasing agent who does the calculations for the "tax credit" apartments uses inflation tactics to make your salary more than what you actually make. I was told to place the $100 holding fee down on an apartment that I was told would be a floorplan like the model, but the actual apartment being held for me was not viewable for "a couple of days" until renovations were complete. A "couple of days" actually was 2 weeks later on my scheduled move-in date. I'm given the keys on move-in date and the apartment is not like the model! AND it is in another tower that is dirty and not nearly close to having the renovations made of Tower B. Then the leasing consultant and property manager harass me telling me that I will not get my $100 holding fee back. The 2 leasing agents I worked with were whispering and laughing about the situation and one of the leasing agents decided he was not going to help me anymore and would toss me on to the other agent instead of helping me. I went above these guys and wrote the Better Business Bureau and the management office. My $$ was refunded and I ran out happy to NOT be tied into a lease with these crooks!
