Don't Consider This as a Place to Live

As a long time tenant, I used to enjoy living in the Twins, but since the ownership slyly change in 2002, the less than basic (nothing to brag about) standards went downhill very fast! The fact that no tenants were advised about the new ownership and the new tenant Section 8 mandate made the whole situation horrible.
Repairs and upgrades were a living hell. Non-English speaking construction employees would park their cars in the tenants' paid spaces (lots of fun!), and construction of new upgrades was poor. Management just disappeared and was not responsive.
What was a nice, moderately priced, rent-controlled apartment complex became a horror to live in. I moved and did not have to endure much of what my former neighbors are experiencing, and I feel for them.
In short, the prisoners currently on Guantanamo Bay likely have better living conditions because of the Geneva convention. No one should have to live in squalor. A nice place turned ugly fast because of greed, ineptness, disception and poor communications.
Whatever the leasing office is saying to prospective new tenants, don't believe a word of it!
