What I like most about my apartment is the view of the Monument and its convenience to stores, Metro, and my job. I was a little disappointed to learn that I could not control my A/C, but I got over it. The rental office staff can sometimes be quick to get annoyed, but they typically mean well. I haven't seen one roach in the month that I have been here. I think it is great for my first apartment.
