Well, I moved to the Carillon based on the reviews on this site as well. They may or may not be by management but I really, really like living here. Someone wrote that the walls are paper thin but I never hear my neighbors except for the upstairs girl whenever she wears heels. I play music pretty loud sometimes and have people over sometimes and my neighbors have never complained. I have an apartment to the rear of the building so I dont have a problem with street noise at all although whenever there are protests in front of the russian embassy I get blasted with that racket..lol. But it isnt often.

Ive never had to call on the management to do any repairs on anything so I dont know if they are prompt or not. But by the looks of the amount of renovations that have been done in the 8 months that I have been here, I take it that the management does take pride in keeping they building clean and up to date. There is brand new carpet on every floor and brand new washer and dryers just put in this week. And they moved the old gym from its tiny location to a new, much bigger location and added more equipment which I use often.

I do have some complaints about the front desk lady..one in particular who will NEVER open the door for you even when she knows you live there. One time I was struggling with 4 bags of groceries, fumbling around looking for my key card and she just sat there staring at me without opening the door to help me even though she KNOWS i live there. I can understand not opening the door for a stranger but if you know they are a tenant why be such a hard a**.

Overall I love living here. I have lost 10 pounds since I moved here cause i walk alot more in the neighborhood. And i love being in a area where there are so many things to do just right on your dooor step.
