Not bad for a studio

I've lived here for a short while. A disclaimer is that I live on a high floor and have normal, almost suburban like neighbors, and I live away from Wisconsin. So noise, etc. doesnt bother me.
The management seem nice, but slow. To get a quick response, you really need face to face contact, which is hard if you're in school or gone during their normal hours. But overall, ok so far. But I havent had an issue yet.
I probably wouldnt pay 1300-1500 for a 1BR. But for 950 for a studio, with the major utilities, with that location (and plenty of street parking), unless you luck out and get a nice place in a private residence, I'm not sure you're going to find much better for the location/money in DC. In fact, the only thing I've seen that's comparable $ wise is on the other side of the Park near Adams Morgan, but those are in lousy areas. There's also a decent amount of street parking behind the building.
