we were considering renting at carillon house because it's very affordable, but as it turns out, you get what you pay for. the impression was consistent from the time we were "greeted" at the front door by the rude receptionist (i think her wig was on too tight) to the long wait to be shown around, to the fact that two of the units weren't ready for habitation ("that will be fixed," "we'll clean that," etc).
obviously we didn't rent there, so i can't speak to specifics, but the negative reviews on this site don't surprize me.
