The facts:

Lobby has trickling water from the ceiling, note, it's not raining outside.
Front door is missing.
Random construction work starts in building around 10:00am, very loud.
Smells, noise from neighbors leaks into apt.

Is it really that bad? I just checked the apartment place out the other day and it looks relatively clean and nice compared to some of the other apartment buildings on that block

I live here at the Carillon House. It has it's issues, but for the most part is a good deal for the money that you pay, considering a comparable apartment in Georgetown costs twice as much. The HVAC renovation sucked, but that was more the idiots hired to do it. As for the unfriendly desk staff that was mentioned in another post, the desk staff is suppose to make everyone sign in, and be accountble for traffic, whih in turn keeps my family and I safe. Plus, how many front desk staff have you seen here that were overly friendly? Come on. They do their job, they are not there to win a popularity contest...

HA! 10 AM! Complaining?!?! During the HVAC renovation when I first moved in last year, construction starting as early as 6 AM ON SUNDAY MORNINGS was so intense THAT PAINTINGS FELL OFF MY WALLS FROM THE RENOVATIONS. If this is your complaints, you would never have survived like the grizzled veterans from this war zone in days past.
