The Chancery is a great place for the price. The front door staff is very friendly and seems to know everyone. It is on Wisconsin Ave, so it can be pretty noisy at times, but what else would you expect' (This is especially for the individual who said you can't sleep there.) I very rarely hear noise from other apartments also, which is a huge plus! I have lived on the back of the building, and found it not so exciting. In fact I remember being woken up often by the trash collection trucks. Now I live on the front of the building, and really like it, especially waking up with a view of the National Cathedral. The one major drawback is the lack of parking, and it can be very frustrating! The apartments are pretty spacious, especially for one person. There is a rooftop that they open in May, nothing special, but it is nice to go up there from time to time. Residents seem to stay in the building for a long time, which shows me that they are satisfied. I would recommend this building to anyone!
