Good Value, Nice place to live overall

Overall, Chancery Apartments is a great choice for those looking for a nice, safe, clean, and spacious place to live in NW D.C. The price tag isn't so bad either. The staff members are friendly and considerate. The hardwood floors are beautiful, neighbors are more or less quiet. The walls are not thick enough to block all noises, and you hear muffled noises and voices from time to time, but to be expected.
I would give two hearty thumbs up for Chancery Apartments if it weren't for the loud banging and clanking noises emanating from the radiators on a daily basis. I know that this is not my own unique problem as I can hear the radiators above and below me making noises too. On top of this noise (once every few hours, loud enough that you'd think an invisible man was living with you, striking the metal radiators with a sledgehammer) you will have to deal with the traffic noise that is Wisconsin Ave. Given, I have gotten used to the noises by now and can tolerate it, but it took a good week of sleepless nights to get used to it.
Another downside is that there are no exhaust fan vents in the kitchen. What that means is that either you cook with all your windows open, or you risk setting off the smoke detector AND having cooking oil spread a thin film all throughout the apartment.
All in all, considering the pluses and minuses, I'd give a 85%, B.
