Living here was a nightmare from the begining. Staff was unprofessional (never responded to one email or phone call) and generally unpleasant. Facilities were poor. I spent a whole day cleaning the dirty apartment before moving in. Parking spot was always taken. Security often sleeping at desk. Attention to emergency situations was poor, such as no emergency lights in stairwells or on floors. (During hurricane this was a mess!) All large mail gets thrown into a package room and it is a free-for-all -GOOD LUCK. Swipe card occassional didn't work and needed reprogramming. Water also came out brown for a few seconds when turned on. Hot water was rare in the mornings. Never saw a cent returned once moved out. Never received money for being referred to move-in. Dryers never completely dried clothes. Washers always dirty. $1.25/load. Trash removal in the morning from dumpster extremely loud. *Please note burlaries. See public mtg. minutes for example: (sorry -cannot list site).

I have lived in this building for a while myself. However, it is not the best place to live and I concur with everything this person has said about the place. For the money we pay for the apartments (the owners are more like "slumlords" in my opinion). I'm going to be retiring in a couple of years and that is why I haven't moved, but I can't wait to do so.
