Even though I have lived in this building for a while, I still thought I should give this review of it. I have stayed on because eventually I'm retiring, but in no way will I stay in this hell hole of a place to retire. It is convenient to grocery stores and the subway down the street, but that is the extent of it.

The apartment stays dirty most of the time and it is hell to clean because after you clean, a day later, the dirt is all over the place. In the kitchen there is a vent where the dirt comes in form the ducts.

Water comes in the windows because of the shoddy windows that were put in. The bathroom is awful. I pay alot of rent and still do not have the newer bathrooms that the new tenants have nor the new kitchen. Guess when I move they will gut the place and put in all new things so they can up the rent by a couple of hundred dollars.

Also, the heating system is really subpar in that when the heat is on, it is still cold in the building. I have woke up many nights where the heat wasn't that great.

Getting your packages is atrocious -- you would think with all the rent the tenants are paying in both the Chesapeake and the Saratoga that the staff would be more courteous of telling us when we have packages (most of the time the packages are thrown in the room and it takes a while to find your packages). Have had alot of trouble with the packages and now have to have them rerouted to where I work.

The building use to be an all adult building and now familes are being brought in and constantly during the evening and early morning when I arrive and leave (crying of children).

Needless to say, I concur with the previous post in that I could not really recommend this place to live.
