I have lived here for 9 years. On the plus side my apartment is relatively large, good storage space, little noise from other apartments, low electric bill, and reasonably quick response on maintenance. Also cats are allowed, which is increasingly rare. Down side - often nasty management, with real atttitudes, tenants = lowlifes, living in the back, which avoids Conn Ave noise but is filthy from the garbage truck, moving truck fumes. Recent new problem are cigarette smokers down below, who've made my apartment smell like an ashtray. Management's attitude - it's my choice to keep my window open, a necessity for ventilation and because (contrary to another poster) the building is way overheated. Another issue - security lights in parking lot area are blinding, like a high-security prison. In 9 years, managment has never painted my apartment, done any upkeep like that. I can walk to work in 10 minutes which keeps me there, but I'm increasingly unhappy and expect to move in the very near future
