OK, but not worth the price

I have I guess what is being called a newly refurbished apartment, and the hardware in the kitchen and bathroom are pretty nice. I have a studio which has a lot of room and good window light even though there is only one window it is large and provides a lot of light. I like sharing the gym and the security being next door. What I dislike mostly has to do with the building, not my apartment. First is the overheating during the winter. Thank GOD we don't pay for it, because damn. I am from the South and spent a lot of money on bedding to stay warm, but all that went to waste as I had to turn my air conditioning on in the winter to sleep because it was so hot. In the bathroom, there is no circulation and the window does not open so getting ready is miserable especially if you use a blow dryer or straight iron. Next is the fact that the elevators are really old, break a lot, and only stay open for a few seconds, and forcefully shut which is dangerous. The computer lab is nice for internet but the printer has only worked for me once in the year I have lived year. Is not too far from the metro, but any farther would be too far. Overall, not bad, but you can do better for the price/location.
