Not much bang for your buck

I have lived in the Chesapeake for approximately a year and a half. I live one of the non-remodeled units, but it's in desperate need of remodeling. Overall, I wish I had never rented here. I agree it's unsafe, the staff are incompetent and unhelpful, the Saturday morning noise is aggravating and it's in need of great repair. Here is a list of pros and cons:
Pros: nice neighborhood and nice walk to metro
Cons: no good restaurants in the neighborhood, staff is very unresponsive and often avoid maintenance problems, window A/C units suck and management will not replace, units are humid, elevator is constantly broken, power goes out more frequently than I am used to (often times for 8-10 hours at a time and management gives no direction or communication), doors often broken/shattered, package room is a mess, parking garage not secure because door is constantly open, tile in bathroom is about 50 years old, little closet space, etc, etc.
My number one pet peeve is that they constantly dump the dumpsters on Saturday and/or Sunday morning around 7 or 730 am with no hesitation.
