It's all right

I lived in a one bedroom in the Chesapeake for a year and it was, eh, whatever. The rent is really high, in my opinion, and the apartments are pretty small. The bathroom was basically a closet with a toilet, tub and sink, and it was really stupid that I couldn't open the window in there to air it out after taking a shower. The security guard situation is a joke - rarely was a guard actually at the lobby desk. Definitely DO NOT rent an apartment over the loading dock - garbage trucks come every morning (even on Saturdays and Sundays!) at 5 am to empty the dumpsters, and it is LOUD when it echoes off the building.
Management was always very nice to us and fixed things promptly. It was nice being able to take advantage of the gym in the basement. I never had any bugs. It's an all right neighborhood - there's a good grocery store about 3 blocks away and it's pretty quiet.
