Great Apartment for Students

I rented a studio for my daughter, a student and stayed with her several times. The apartment was on the top floor and very quiet. Most of the other tenants are graduate students. The landlord made an extra effort to upgrade the complex (replaced windows in all units), respond to maintenance requests promptly (replaced a leaky gas stove immediately), and look out for the residents. There are security cameras and you must have a key to get into the building. Parking spaces are tight but the garage is well lit. The building has a rooftop deck that overlooks Arlington, Georgetown and the National Cathedral. It is less than 2 blocks to the Foggy Bottom metro and almost next door to GW hospital. Overall, this is a great place for students and the price is comparable to the cost of GW dorms - my daughter had several friends who wanted to live here.
