Good place to live

The Claridge House is a great place to live. It's location can't be beat - 2 blocks to Metro, 10 minute walk to Dupont and Georgetown. Its staff is always helpful (it helps to act nicely to them and not like a spoiled child). The grounds are always maintained very well. The hallways are always clean (vaccumed daily) and well light. The laundry room is a bit on the pricey side with not always reliable washers and dryers. And parking spaces are very hard to get.
In the years I've lived here, I've never had a problem with roaches or mice (it helps to clean your apartment and take out the trash on a regular basis). There are tons of GW students that live here, and some seem to have no common sense and not to know how to act like neighbors. But the vast majority are quiet and nice. There is some noise on weekends, but if it gets out of hand, a call to the DC police brings an officer in about 15 minutes and the partying ends quickly.
Rents depend on the individual unit owners. Some charge ridiculous rents; others are willing to charge less if the tenants are good. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to live in the Foggy Bottom/West End area.
