EXPENSIVE BUT GREAT BUILDING/LOCATION

This building is expensive but you must expect that when you are in centralized Northwest right near Georgetown. The few block radius surrounding the building feel safe and the 5 minute walk to the foggy bottom metro is unbeatable. 10 minute walk to M street Georgetown. So if you are looking for location this place is great. You may have to circle the blocks for a parking space unless you want to pay $200/month to the landlord.
I have never seen a roach in the apartment or trash in the hallway (they vacuum every day). There are many GW students, but it isn't loud or crazy.
The staff, front desk especially are rude. They constantly demand to know if you're a resident and yelled at my friend who was walking with me to ask if he was a resident even after I used my key to get in. They act really inconvenienced and annoyed if you ask them to do anything and are pretty slow and hard to communicate with.
They do require carpeted floors, sometimes you have to provide the carpet which is a pain.
The place feels secure and the heat is never a problem. However, the water goes from cold to hot a lot and can run out of hot water quickly sometimes. I would recommend this place is you want to live right in D.C. and have the money to spare. I haven't experienced any problems with the exception of our personal landlord who is terrible but that depends on which unit you have. If you are looking at the 7th floor beware of the landlord. Ours sucks big time.
