Amazing location/quiet building
Lived here for two years in a remodeled studio. Best part about this building is the location. Gym is on the small side so I went to Orange Theory 2 blocks away. Never had any issues with my apartment or the building. The building hasā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Management is clueless
Don't get me wrong, the building is great, the staff is nice, the apt's are ok (although overpriced), BUT the building super is incapable, jumps right to excuses for everything, and has no sense of reality. And worse, the building manager is like 20ā¦Ā See More >PerrettoJ

Nice!
Key to this building is to find an owner that cares about their property. I've lived there for years and know people who live in units that don't look like they've ever been upgraded. Building has a great gym. Pool is okayā¦Ā See More >anonymous

A good deal and a fine place to live
I have lived at Claridge House for a year and a half, and I have found little to complain about. The front desk staff is nice enough and polite, with some of the attendants being more friendly than others (one even lent me $10ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Great Location-Nice New Renovations-Responsive In-house Maintenance Staff
I have lived at Claridge House for almost five years. The location is the best, in the heart of Foggy Bottom, with a 15 minute walk to Georgetown, a five minute walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro, ten minutes to the Kennedy Center orā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Every Bad Report Is True
Hopefully all of the rats and mice they have in the building will help control the bug problem. I currently live in the building and can't wait for my lease to expire. I have personally trapped 5 rats in this building and the management isā¦Ā See More >goodtenant101

great location, crappy facilities, crappy staff
The staff in general is at best eccentric, and at worst mean as hell. I'm generally a pretty agreeable person, but I found it very difficult to deal with them. The two men who work at the front desk are very nice, though, so dealā¦Ā See More >anonymous

office staff ruins experience
Great location. Great building after renovations. Having to dealing with the management and front desk people though is enough reason to never live here. I have never met a group of people so incapable of doing their jobs. They are also very nasty people.ā¦Ā See More >heyheyheyhey

TERRIBLE
I have never been treated so rudely than by the old ladies behind the desk at Claridge House. They are never helpful, always rude, and don't care how long you stand politely waiting for their assistance. They'll lose your key & your packages. They have no regardā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Can't believe I'm going to miss this place
After my last 2 years at the Claridge House, I know find myself seeking a new apt in NYC. If only I could take the Claridge House with me. Beautiful pool. Newly renovated unit...& now the entire building is getting a makeover. Unbelieveable location.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Good to me
The apartment served my roommate and me well. The two male front desk people are kind. If possible, deal with them, not the two older women. They are doing a bunch of renovations currently so by 2008 the place will be muchā¦Ā See More >jewel1359

Not a good place to live
As other reviewers said, the only big plus of Claridge House is the location but besides that every thing else sucks. I lived there for two years and now that I'm not there any more I feel that I must have done this much muchā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Like a restaurant with a view
The best thing that can be said about the claridge house is its address; georgetown, downtown, dupont are all easily walkable, and the metro is close as well. Unfortunately, besides the pool on the roof most of the building is extremely pedestrian. Theā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Do NOT live here, especially with landlord named Kahn
Bad Landlords everywhere, total ripoff. If you want to lose your security deposit on problems that were there before you moved in, go for it. Miserable service, miserable office staff, the only nice part is the pool on the roof.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous
