While the rents are completely RANDOM and change day to day as you are deciding whether to lease or not...once I signed I really didnt have any regrets.

PROS
Location is awesome - very safe, next to a school (maybe bad idea to get apartment on that side of the building), easy 10ish minute walk to the red line, good restaurants nearby (french, lebanese, diners, sushi), cute neighborhoody feel

Apartments are very, very nice - and I've seen a lot in DC. Mine had all new appliances, was completely clean when i moved in, decent hardwood floors, HUGE apartments (my 1 br is like 850 sft) and appealing layouts. Big windows let light in.

Noise is minimal and I live next to an elevator. I can hear the little bing bong of the doors occasionally..but nothing too bad. My neighbors are very quiet.

Other residents seem very nice, say hello to one another in the gym. No problems here.

Staff is extremely nice. Really. They've helped me on numerous occasions and have even gone out of their way.

Gym is great, if small. Rowing machine, 2 treadmills, elliptical, stairmaster, balance ball, mats, weights.. and its always nice and cool in there!

CONS
Dishwasher and stoves lowest end- they truly suck. But my stuff seems cooked and clean so not a huge deal.

Muffins they leave out in the morning are completely sub-par.

No grocery stores in woodley park!

In my opinion, worth the money.
