Cloisters
< | >
The Cloisters is a fine example of mismanagement. The rent, when considered in comparison to services provided, is absurd. My neighbors had a fish tank overflow and slowly seep through my ceiling. Maintenance was kind enough to come and remove my smoke detector for fear of sparking an electrical fire...but then neglected to replace it despite repeated requests.
Not to mention the water damage that wasn't repaired until I threatened to withhold rent.
Have I mentioned the hundred-legged bugs I find crawling on the walls at night' Or the doorknobs that inexplicably fall off' Did I forget to draw your attention to the buzzer system that was broken for 4 months before the management decided it was important enough to address'
Horning Brothers needs to slash the prices or hire competent management. My guess is neither will happen and you should look elsewhere for satisfactory housing.

You need to get a patition signed by your fellow tenants and hand deliver it to the president of Horning Brothers. I can tell you that if it goes to the vice president it will go no further. This person is covering for the shady dealings that are going on at this property. That is why nothing ever changes and the staff gets away with murder. So unless you take it to the top you will never see a change.
