The Clisters has one of the most convenient locations to a large portion of DC (especially NorthEast DC) but is more than just convenience. The staff is extremely helpful and willing to work with you. The facilities are very suitable, and the overall appearance of the grounds is very nice. Maintenance workers are very good, and when the problems are more urgent they quickly take care of the situations, and even on less than urgent problems they still take care of the problems in a timely manner. The manager of the complex is a very nice lady who is extremely accomodating, and will do almost anything to keep you happy. Also, the upgraded model apartments come with state-of-the-art kitchens and bathrooms, not to mention the room size and quality is already more than adequate. Parking can be a problem at random times, but the security guards stepped up their patrol and took care of that problem recently. I also feel very safe on the grounds of the apartments. Overall, I recommend the Cloisters to anyone looking in the NE DC area.
