Blatant Discrimination

I called the leasing company, which handles both 4500 and 5100 Connecticut Ave. The leasing agent told me I could pick up keys to see a unit at the 5100 from the desk at 4500. I parked by the 4500. When I went to pick up the keys at the scheduled time, the desk clerk could not find any. Then he went into a back room and apparently spoke to someone and came back with a set of keys. I got into my car and parked near the 5100. None of the keys worked in the front door. I got into my car and parked near the 4500 again. The desk clerk insisted the key he gave me matched the front desk key of the other units (they did not match, different color, weight shape, and key fob.) There's no reason to give me the wrong keys.
I came back on a Saturday and a leasing agent was there. She said someone was looking at the unit whom she said she just spoke to and he'd be right back with a big smile. Over half an hour later she said the same thing with a big smile. I waited an hour and no keys for me. It doesn't take an hour for someone to check out one unit. Finally, I left.
It doesn't matter if employees are of a minority background, they follow management's instructions and will discriminate on command. Ridiculous runaround. These are typical discrimination tricks.

This is a stupid review. I have lived in the building for many years, and our front desk attendants are great. They keep unwanted people out and know most everyone's names (even if you are just a frequent visitor). I highly doubt they discriminate on command--my floor is SUPER diverse, and we all love the front desk staff. I'm glad you decided not to live here, sounds like you have some issues that need to be resolved.
