Connecticut Plaza is the best, bar none!!!

To the few previous negative comments about Connecticut Plaza:
First: We do have under contract, a professional landscaping company that takes care of our grounds!! They visit our property several times each month in the Spring, Summer and Fall. (a bit less in the winter) The flowers in front of the main building are so colorful in the Spring that tourists actually stop and take pictures.
Second: Our apartment kitchens and appliances are from 1996; NOT THE 1970's or 1980's. If someone would like granite countertops and top-of-the-line everything, go rent at any new building in the area, but be prepared to pay $6,000 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment!!!
Third: We have absolutely NO CONTROL over what happens at the National Zoo! Our complex just happens to be behind the zoo. I'm assuming the people that have a problem with the noise of the zoo construction would rather just see the National Zoo facilities just fall apart from years of neglect. HOW SELFISH OF THOSE PEOPLE!
In closing, Connecticut Plaza is one of the best maintained, well-run apartment complexes in all of DC! Every resident is treated with friendliness and respect and they actually KNOW YOUR NAME! You're not just a "tenant". The Manager has been at the property for over 12 YEARS and the Assistant Manager has been at the property for 7 years. That in itself speaks volumes when turnover in property management staff in other buildings or the industry as a whole, is rampant!
