We've (my husband and I) been residences over a year, going into our 14 month and all in all we have had no problems with our apartment. I agree with a lot of reviewers who say the Management staff is a bit off, but personally they helped us a great deal when we moved in. We moved from over seas and had to order all new furniture and have it delivered and both the Maintenance staff AND the Management staff delivered the furniture and boxes to our apartment while we were at work and unable to receive them. That was extremely helpful and went beyond the call of duty, especially since it states in the lease that they will not deliver anything over 10 lbs. Since then we have not had too many dealings with either and all have been ok.
Parking is rarely a problem, and usually we can find street parking behind the building or on Woodley or Cathedral near by. It's only a nuisance when you have something to carry.
The apartment gets pretty good light during the day and into the early afternoon, could be better but we're on the north side of the building with two other walls adjacent, however as a result it stays pretty cool well into early summer which keeps our AC down.
Occasional noise from other residents is bothersome, especially when there are parties going on. But it's usually only on weekends It's a fairly young building, we're in our mid/late twenties and feel old!, and it can be annoying when people are yelling and playing music when you want to sleep.
We plan on staying here until we're ready for a 2 bedroom place. The rent is a bit high but for the area I feel it's decent. Slight increase after our one year lease was up.
