I lived there for six years and witnessed the steady decline of the Cromwell.

Wanda Scrivner, the manager, was nice, approachable, and accommodating. Pierre and Donnell, the maintenace staff, were usually quick to respond.

BUT - I ended up with a re-ocurring roach problem that got worse and worse. In the last year I was there, the ceiling drywall got soaked and fell in on two separate occasions. And, when my old A/C wall unit was replaced by a new one, rats (and mice) suddenly had access to my apartment. I saw a small rat come out of the bottom of the A/C unit nose first. I AM STILL TRAUMATIZED! Maintenance staff would come in my apartment when I was at work and rip off what i had rigged up to block the opening under the A/C unit. Why' because they said blocking it made the unit leak and soak the ceiling of the apartment below me! One morning, I woke up and opened my eyes to see a rat looking at me from accross the room. I don't know if I ever made it to work that day because I was standing on top of my bed forever.

I never had a problem with any of the tenants, like the other reviews said. It was only the rats/roaches that made me move!
