I would not recommend the Flats at Dupont Circle! Not worth the money at all! For the most part the front desk people are friendly. The women in the afternoon/evening on weekdays is NOT! I usually wait for the weekends to get any packages or laundry. I couldn't sit on my balcony without listening to the dogs next door bark day and night. I always heard them when I was any part of my apartment as well. We went to cook on the grill one night and a rat ran out from inside the grill. To say the least I never used those grills again! Told management and they did respond to me but never notified the other residents which I think would have been nice so they wouldn't use the grills until the rat problem with under control. Isn't that a health hazard''!! My air condition and heat are VERY noisy! They still have the old units in there from the hotel! For awhile the AC wasn't working in the gym so that made it real fun to work out. Counting the days until I move out!

Overall I would not recommend this place! There are plenty of much nicer places in the Dupont/West End area where your hard earned money would be better spent!

The person who wrote this review is not going to be happy living anywhere. I've lived in D.C. for a while now, and for me these are literally such minute issues. I have now been living at the Flats for about a year and a half, and have not experienced half of the problems above. I'm not saying any of the above is untrue, I just am finding it hard to believe. I will admit, the rent here is amongst the highest in the city for an apartment.
