Looks Nice, But NOT Safe

When you move in, they make a big deal about having someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, but the side door has been broken for the past two months, at a time when crime is increasing in the neighborhood. I just have my friends meet me at the pool since anyone can go through that broken door. I guess someone else figured out the door was broken since we found the soda machine was broken into when we went to get a soda.
The air conditioners are the worst. For a new building, I was shocked to find out they never put in new air conditioner units. These are the same ones left over from when it was a hotel. Real classy, and makes you wonder what else is old and ready to break (electricity, plumbing). It feels like a building done on the cheap.
When my AC broke a few weeks ago, the maintenance guy pulled the top off of it and I came to realize the units also haven't been cleaned since it was a hotel. No wonder I was having problems breathing.
Lots of talk about luxury, but you will find otherwise if you just scratch the surface.
