My husband has lived here since 2006 & I joined him in 2007. The people at the front desk have always been nice to us - we've never had any issue with them. We did have some trouble with our over head neighbors - they were 2 doped-up losers who would begin singing/screaming kareoke (sp') at 2am and would pass out around 9am. Mgmt was very helpful as far as filing reports against them and working with us to get them kicked out of the apt - which they were after 3 incidents. Watch out for Bill - the property manager - he's very sheisty with things in general and does not give a crap about you after you submit your intent to move!! We've not had any other issues. Laundry room is adequate - just pick off peak times to do it. We used street parking and it was fine. We did not like that the apt's thermostat is set by the mgmt - they determine when the heat or cool is turned on - you control the whether it's turned on in your individual apt but it's still a pain. Also, get your own internet - the one they provide is very inadequate and goes slower than dial-up! We've moved because the apt had gotten too small for our needs & we could not afford to stay in the same complex and get a bigger place. DC is an incredibly over-expensive place to live - not much perk for the price - but that's how it is all over this city.
