Gables Woodley Park

Gables: Expect a lot of spin and nothing else. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/1/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   Moved in when L-Cor was the owner. Gables purchased the property and it's been a disappointment ever since. Rents have increased tremendously but service has significantly declined to almost non-existent. Actually, the service you are guaranteed to receive is a lot of lip-service. Promoted as a luxury apartment building, it's really more like a frat house; tenant behavior is uncontrolled. Building-manager attrition is a serious problem; expect to see a new face every few months. Same attrition problem with building-maintenance staff. Overall, the office personnel are inexperienced and demonstrate no initiative. Public areas are filthy all too often. Gables just doesn't understand the concept that they are in the service industry; if it's service you want, keep looking elsewhere. Moving once my lease ends.
