Yes, this is a great location. But beyond that, let's get real here. The resident managers have all been very nice people. But they have little actual control over the quality or timeliness of the repair work. Why' Because the owners of the building are cheap-ass bastards who won't invest in actually improving the quality of life of the residents.
Main issues:
-Repair work is shoddy and careless.
-Promises are made to fix-up and it can take YEARS for them to be "fixed"
-Pest control is completely ineffective: 1) they use a method that requires tenants to majorly scrub down the apartment each night. (I like cleanliness, but if you leave one crumb, they will not eat the bate.) 2) Cracks and crevices in poorly installed kitchens are havens for roaches.
This place, in order to actually improve would need to be gutted completely and rebuilt.
