I am a tenant at Meadow Green who can't wait until the end of July (that's when my lease expires) so that I can move. This is my first apartment in about 13 years and what an experience it has been. The management is extremely unprofessional. I'm still waiting for my "move-in" list of things to get done. No kidding! I'm on the third floor and there are no gutters on my building so when it rains, if your windows happen to be open, the walls in the dining room get wet. The paint on my dining room wall is blistering and peeling and rusting is going on near the radiator. There is very little water pressure. My stove dodsn't work. My a/c unit doesn't work in my room and the one in the living room and in my third bedroom are so noisy that I'd rather sweat than listen to the noise. The don't cool either. I called the office about the noise and the fact that they didn't cool and was told that I couldn't get the air conditioners in my apartment replaced because they were using whatever units they had available for apartments that were yet to be leased. Imagine that, a tenant (who pays 100% of the rent and on-time, no section 8 here!)less important than someone who doesn't exist. I don't know. Don't move into this community if you expect any modicum of a respectable quality of life.
I must say, however, the size of the bedrooms can not be matched. I am hard-pressed to find anothe apartment community with bedrooms the size of the one that I'm giving up. Oh well, I guess you can't have everything.
