Wow...I dont know where to begin. This place is a total nightmare. Don't let the conartists fool you, don't buy into their dillusions of grandeur, there is nothing good about this place.

Ongoing, ever-present, persistant maintenance problems. Don't expect to call with an emergency maintenance problem and have it fixed by the time you get home (OR EVER)! Maintenance never comes when they are supposed to! Maintenance NEVER properly fixes problems! They even TRASH your apartment and damage your property!

The office staff is clueless at best and the property manager is a smooth talker, watch out for him. He sounds so proactive but never calls you back. Then he says he "forgot" or he "never got the message." And is terribly apologetic...he should have been a used car salesman, who knows, he might be that too.

The place is falling apart, despite the "renovations." They were not even done properly. Its a 70 year old building done up to look new and modern, but that facade fades quickly. You may have new tile and a new toilet, but whats behind it is what matters, and it is falling apart.

Previous posters got it right. RUN FAR AWAY!

Go visit dcapts.info and check out their apartment "communities" and know TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

i'm the one who posted this review. yes, its really that terrible! the property manager is a complete LIAR. don't believe a word he says. he has lied to my face countless times. no, things definitely do NOT work, and good luck on trying to get them fixed. (im in touch with a lawyer, and i have plenty of pictures).

rodents, i have seen them, none in my apartment though. they are supposed to exterminate on a regular basis and it happened i was home sick the day they were supposed to be "exterminating" my apartment, guess what? they never came and i was home all day.

please, do not move here! from the time i moved in to now, rent and parking has gone through the roof. take your $1500 a month and move somewhere else for your own good!

Hi,

I'd really like to talk to who ever posted this. I'm looking to move to Adams morgan. Is it really terrible? Do things just not work in the apartment? Are there rodent problems? I just talked to the manager. He did seem smooth.
