Mouse Infestation

I have lived in this apartment for one year and before the below incident I loved it. Great location, Management is eh, Facilities are eh but overall pretty good. I've had no problems asking for things to be fixed and they often are 24 hours after requested. The washer/dryers are really old, coin operated, no change machine, and often leave stains on my whites or ------ particularly if someone used bleach before, very basic and overall are sucky washer/dryers.
Now the mouse problem:
Since February our apartment has been inundated with mice and in my opinion little has been done. I've now caught 12 mice (and counting) and all I keep getting is for me to put traps, make sure the apartment is clean, and not to leave pet food sitting out.
What they should do is an apartment by apartment treatment of holes in walls and actively seaking and destroying mice instead of putting traps. Traps don't prevent or get rid of them.
So overall I'd have to say -F for their handling of the situation.
