Once was the jewel of DC, but sadly, no longer...

The K-W is in a great location, next to the National Zoo and midpoint between 2 metro stations. The architecture is gorgeous 1920 art deco, but unfortunately the landlord is so cheap, the place doesn't get the maintenence/restoration it deserves, so while prices are ridicoulously high (up to 4900/month for a 2 bedroom), we have seen mice and ---- roaches, not to mention that there aren't dishwashers, garbage disposals in each unit and everytime you do laundry, expect to compete for W/D, becuase the onsite drycleaner hogs them up doing wash for others.
