I stayed at the KW only for 6 months. I could not take it anymore: incompetent management, maintenance staff very incompetent, noisy, invasion of privacy, noise-noise-noise. Even the parking cie is following the trend: overpriced and not accommodating. The only positive was a nice doorman from Sierra Leone!!! They could cut the price in half and it would still be overpriced. It's not enough to live off an overrated reputation.

It's no longer the place on conn., but it's home and it's very convenient. Needs a total face lift, esp the apts. New carpeting and AC for entire bldg, not just the entry salons. Mgt. does suck. BF Saul is truly disgusting. Nickle and diming, even long term tenants. No respect. Lovely park views.

I also lived at the KW and thought it was wonderful. Great location, access to the metro, restaurants and friendly folks and I do agree that the doorman was wonderful. I must admit there are people like this individual who will ALWAYS complain if everything isn't pefect or if they dont gt there way with eveeryone sucking up to them. As far as the noise if you referring the repair on the bridge that has nothing to do with the KW - complain to the District and when you car falls though the bridge you would probably sue the city too. I for one enjoyed my say and would return in a minute. I would rate it a 4 to 4.5 out of 5 with 5 being the highest.
