I've been at the Latrobe for nearly two years and for the first year-and-a-half, my expereince was mostly good. That changed drastically several months ago and it's been a nightmare ever since. The building is currently being rennovated which has caused a host of problems for the tenants. Scores of workers flood the hallways of the building all day, roaming in and out of people's apartments unsupervised. Recently, the windows were replaced in my apartment when I was at work. The workers moved all of the stuff that was near the windown and threw most of it on my bed...and left it there. They tracked mud in my apartment and left dirt and paint chips on my couch. The management's response' Oh, well. The new management is abysmal. They are unresponsive and clearly have no interest in making the living experieince a good one for their tenants. Rent has been skyrocketing even as the level of service and living experieince has diminished dramatically. The bottom line: The Latrobe is a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

Sounds like a post from a competitor apartment complex who is scared and needs business from one of the best run apartment community in DC.
