The Lencshire holds so much promise as its location is the best part about the building. Located in NW DC across from the National Cathedral, it is already in a beautiful setting. The problem is that management is not taking care of this place. It's a very small building and so it shouldn't take too much money nor time to keep things clean. You will see that the reception area and the office is clean, but the rest of the building is left untouched. The laundry room is always in shambles as the washer/dryer systems are always malfunctioning and it takes days before things get fixed. The garage is marred by overflowing garbage and recycling and you'll notice small cockroaches running around. Also, the hallways are never cleaned. For the money you pay for this place, you would think there would be enough care and attention given to the building. Brenda could care less of you after you sign the lease. On a better note, the receptionists are nice and friendly (sometimes a little too friendly) and maintenance will usually be timely. The place is okay, but could be a lot better. I would recommend looking around first before settling in this place.
