I have lived at M St Towers for almost 4 years. When I first moved in I noticed a bit of a bug problem and immediately put boraic acid around corners of the place. I have yet to see another bug since than (knock on wood). I also live close to the ground level.

The rent is reasonable and the location has improved, however, living in the city (anywhere) you have to expect to deal with homeless people wandering, traffic (horns, police and fire truck sirens, etc), people yelling, walking home drunk etc. Also hookers making their rounds from L street and round the blocks late at night onto the early morning, is quite trashy. However, you learn to accept all those things fairly quickly.

The building is a bit on the older side, but they have renovated the laudry facilities which is good.

Staff overall has been nice. For awhile we they had switched apt managers and there was a real jerk there for a bit, but he is gone and there is no problems.

I think one of the biggest pluses about M St Towers is the concrete walls. I have never once, heard my neighbors on either side of me. You can hear people that walk through the hallway, occasionally.
