I moved on Hartford street nine and a half years ago. During that time, I lived in 2308,2302 and now I live in 2300. Everything was fine until I moved to 2300. (OH MY GOD) People would sit in front of the building all day long. If its raining, they will go to the third floor and hang in the window. I am not the type of person that likes to complain, but I couldn't take it anymore. I wrote a letter to the rental office, but nothing was done until I threaten to call the Housing Authority. Things got better for a short period of time and then back to the same old ----.I worked 16 hour days and had to come home to people sitting in front of the building. The tenants in apt.301 would have their family members come over everyday with their children and sit in front of the building in lawn chairs. The property manager lives on the property (next building) and witnesses the loitering everyday. Nothing is being done about it. Ms.Lawson (lives in apt.404) has a grandson that she allows to run aroud from the time he gets up until he gets tired. She has no respect for others whats so ever. Nothing gets fixed in a timely manner because they are under staffed. Willie (the maintenance person)does the BEST he can do, but he can not do it all by himself. I lost count of the mices, I think the last number was 20!!! Good luck to anyone who decides to move here at Maplewood Courts. Better hope you dont get the apt. under Ms. Lawson...LOL
