I have been living here for years now, and do not experience the problems that these stupid people are talking about. I was here for the explosion, and yes it was a mess, but the staff was here helping us night & day. The majority of the people that are complaining don't pay their rent and are on the line of being evicted. If you want want to be treated like tenants then act like you have some sense when you address issues to management instead of calling DCRA, they are not your friends down there. They laugh at you fools for the things you go down there for. At the very end of the day all you idiots are making it hard for people who actually like it here. Also, remember people things have changed since new managemnet has taken over, and you need to get with change. And stop crying all the time. If you don't like it move or are you still here because you haven't paid your rent and you can't. Hahahahahahahahahaha. This place is good to me I have a spacious apartment no bugs, no rodents, no nothing, but peace when RAMP is not around making a whole bunch of noise.

I can see that whoever you are,is use to having substandard stuff and that is okay everyone isn't suppose to have nice things and I guess your friends Mr. Mice only come out when you are sleep so he won't have to split the rent with you! You have to out of your mind to think that Marbury Plaza or Management has our best interest at heart do they have an apartment here? No? It's just your fool self thinking that mice and a 30 year old kitchen is nice! Then I am afraid to think about the summer months when all the little kids and young minded adults are hanging out outside like this is the place to be smoking and drinking and figthing! But I guess you when you are not use to much and you get a little spacious apartment then things are suppose to be okay well I don't settle for less and I pay my rent on time but I am not going settle for anything not from anybody! I do plan on moving before the summer is over but it just the matter of going from trash to more trash something you just don't know about!

Boy oh boy you must either work for mangement or you must be one of those section 8 rentals that live in the high rise to think this place is a good place to live. How in the hell do you know who is about to be put out you probally only pay 200 dollers a month while everybody else goes out here and work everyday to help pay your rent with the taxes we pay you project dummy people who work for a living dont settle for just anything .Look for anybody who reads this stupid is as a stupid does commit just come up here and see for yourself when the whather is warm (Oh by the way we went 60 days last summer with no a/c) but getting back to what I was saying come see the ghetto ass guardian angels that hang out everyday with the dropout boys smokin weed on the steps or bookmen and the rest of the druken maitence men drinking by the dumpsters, but to top off this cake we have the hornor of having six registered sex offeders living in the complex dont take my word for it it all online look it up. Yes I am moving in July to my house and I will send you dumb dumb the first invitation to the barbeque.

MY goodness!!!Sex Offenders?? You have really sounded the horn and will make me really man that sex offender registry when I am looking to move. Marbury Plaza has gone down and I do think that irate poster really does work for that complex. The 2 responses had me laughing so hard! Thanks for keeping it real and telling it like it REALLY is!

First you start out by calling people names (stupid, fools). What does that say about you? Not a whole lot. It definitely shows your mentality. For management to have been here for the explosion and fire and deaths of the mother and baby (you conveniently omitted that info),
is a no brainer - they had to be here - along with their lawyers, why do you think that was? To cover their 'assets'.

If you have information re who's not paying their rent and are going to be evicted means you are talking to someone in the management office who's giving you information to which you should not be privy. Wonder what corporate management office and the legal system would do about/to you and your source of info?

Since you've been here for years then it's safe to say that you and your kind are the responsible culprits for the condition of the complex. I would say that what you are used to is living in deplorable conditions and can't discern and/recognize when conditions and service are sub-par (that means below standards).

Do you put your trash down the trash chute, or just put it in the trash room? Do you pick up trash in the hall- and stairway and put in the proper place? Are you one of those who gets your mail from the mailbox and throw the junk mail you don't want in the elevator or on the floor at the mailstation, or do you put it in the trash chute RIGHT THERE on the first floor?

Have you not seen the 'waterfalls' in the lobby? Water coming not just thru holes in the ceiling but also thru the light fixtures? Have you not seen the condition of the carpets in the hallways or sloshed thru standing water? Have you not smelled the mold and mildew eminating from the same carpets? Have you not seen the flooded area (breezeway) that leads between 2300 and 2330 buildings? Or, answer this do you smoke on or pick up the trash-clean up urine/defecation in elevators? I bet you do not.

Using good sense is going to DCRA instead of management because management does not respond, unless, of course, you have the inside scoop on that also and your requests are always responded to in a timely and professional manner. True, DCRA staff is not our friend, but neither is management - and they've consistently shown where their loyalty lay (DCRA). Which new management are you speaking of? We've had several, including EIGHT (8) property managers since April 2001!!!

You laugh at others' misfortune because they seemingly can't pay their rent. How very inconsiderate and non-compassionate you are.

Remember, you reap what you sow.

A FEW of the best people ever employed by management are Ms. Wellington, Ms. Taylor and Ms. Rooks (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH 'FOOKS'), and Ms. Storey. One other good thing that's happened to Marbury Plaza is the resignation of Ms. James and JeNay, who was Ms. Fooks's assistant property manager.

I did not mean to go on and on, but your email really got my dander (means RUFFLED TEMPER; ANGER)up.

SUGGESTION: BEFORE YOU WRITE YOUR KIND OF IMBECILIC AND ASSININE RANTINGS AGAIN, S!T!O!P! AND THINK. WHEN YOU PUT SOMETHING TO PEN AND PAPER IT'S ENGRAVED IN THE MEMORY OF EVERYONE WHO'S BEEN UNFORTUNATE ENOUGHT TO HAVE READ IT. You will be remembered. But, wait a minute you signed 'ANONYMOUS', I call that cowardice. Own up to your beliefs.

I wouldn't even let this simple minded jerk! Get too me with his ingnorant slurs. I mean I will not even settle for less just like the other individual said in there blog...I love where I live but I also keeps a clean apartment, and when I saw that little ass creature run from my bathroom as I proceeded to get in the shower one morning he ran from my closet into the living, back into the kitchen into the crack an cremisces where he came from....I must say since living at maurbury plaza, I considerate it too be very nasty, the people there are just ghetto majority of them: Don't want to throw there trash down the shoot I mean com on!
