City living and no knuckle biting commutes

I have actually lived at Mass Court for 1 year now. Living in the city has been worth every single penny. I use to commute from Falls Church every morning into DC for my job at the USDA. I absolutely hated the commute. It was so frustrating at times living less than 15 miles away yet it would take almost 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to work every morning. My rent is a little higher than what I was paying for in Virginia, but my quality of life has improved immensely. I have more time to relax, spend time with my girlfriend, and I arrive to work with very little stress. I actually walk to work sometimes now that I live in DC. I have lived in apartment buildings in Virginia. To be frank, all apartment buildings have the same issues. I have absolutely enjoyed living at Mass Court. I have never had any issues with the people who work in the management office. They've always been very responsive to any maintenance request that I have had. I agree that there are times when some of the items in the gym aren't quite working, but I have come across those same issues at other places. I have belonged to a gym and the same things happens there too. I'm just happy to have a gym that I can access 24 hours. The only machine that I have ever encountered being broken was an elliptical machine that was broken for a few weeks. But, it was fixed and it's been working since. The rooftop pool is nice ammenity eventhough I don't use it very often. I would recommend this place if you want nice ammenities and the convenience of living in the city.
