Make sure to read your book of a lease and don't listen to the promises of amenities - they charge to use the party room and be prepared to fight for one of the two grills which work before the roof closes for the night at 9pm. The don't have to comply with DC tenant law which means they can and will raise your rent to whatever they want after a year. The property mamagers are unreasonable and would rather have people move out every year than keep good tenants. Be prepared for the elevator to always be in use by those who are smart enough to be moving out.

Both gas grills are working. We have 4 elevators including a freight elevator for move-ins and move-outs. Mass Court is not rent controlled building. Many new buildings in the area are not. Mass Court rental rates are highly competitive to the market rates in the area..in some cases below market rate. You need to take in consideration the apartment size and the amenities that it offeres and compare apples for apples when speaking about rent. |

You should know your facts before making accusations. Mass Courts rent is the same if not lower then other properties in the area. Keep in mind you are paying to live in D.C. and be metro accessable. Location, Location, Location!!!!!!!!

Why do you unhappy people attack every good review? This is how it is.....in every apartment building. 5% of the residents love you (management), 5% hate you, you cant do enough to make them happy. The other 90% dont care one way or the other. After being in this business for 20 years I'm tired of listening to you whine.
