Horribly incompetent leasing office

The leasing office makes life miserable - both when you move in and when you move out. However, they are nicer when you move in. We're in the process of trying to move out now and the leasing office has erected obstacles every step of the way. Their belligerence has scared off a potential tenant - leaving us responsible for a $4,000 fee to break the lease. When challenged, the building manager arrogantly responded he 'didn't care whose name was on the lease' as long as someone was paying them on a monthly basis. If you're looking to move into a apartment building that is only interested in making money, this place is for you. Otherwise, avoid it like the plague.
