Don't believe any review that overly glows or is overly negative. I've lived here 2 years and I'm moving mostly to be closer to work, not because anything is so terrible.

The building is generally clean except the dumpster area can smell because they need to change dumpsters more and residents don't always put their trash in the dumpster. The price is average for the space, amenities and location. My apartment is quiet and I rarely hear my neighbors but the one exception is that I can occasionally hear the pool or outside noise. The pool is nice but overrun with other resident's guests. Average resident is probably a student and younger than 30.

My biggest warning is the lease. It's ridiculously long and overly detailed. You also have a 60-day notice period to leave PLUS 2 months rent in liquidated damages, which makes it impossible (if not unaffordable) to break your lease.

I never said it was the worst building I ever lived in. I only took issue with you saying to "not believe other reviews." Even if you never experienced some of the issues that others have, that doesn't mean they are not relevant. I agree that one weekend does not a terrible building make, but it was a bit ridiculous. As was Memorial Day weekend, and most weekends this summer so far. Again, the building is not a frat house. It's the home of hundreds of residents, and the last thing I want to see in the lobby or elevator of my home is 20-somethings vomiting, spilling beer, throwing food and generally acting like children. It's just ashame that residents who pay good money to live in the building do not get to enjoy the amenities b/c they are overfilled by non-residents who were invited by a facebook invitation.

I was, in fact, in the apartment over the weekend and I agree that the management often fails to control the number of guests (see my original comment re: the pool). However, one poorly managed weekend doesn't make my 2 years there terrible. It certainly hasn't been the perfect building but I think it's an exaggeration to take the 4th weekend (or even a typical weekend) and say it makes the building the worst building to live in. If this is your worst building experience, consider yourself very lucky.
